Safe Church Training Dates - 2008!
Who should attend Safe Church Training and full details about the training as well as the Policies for the Protection of Children and Youth are both available in pdf format.
For those who cannot attend a full-day on Saturdays, we now offer the classes at night in 3 1/2hr sessions. Note: You must attend BOTH evening classes to be certified!
2008 Schedule:
Saturday, August 16th
9:00am to 4:00pm (lunch included)
Emmanuel, Newport
Registrations for these classes are now being taken by calling the Registration Line at 274-4500 ext 111. The Cost is $8.00 per person, payable in advance!

Episcopal Charities 2008
The Annual Campaign is Off and Running! Our volunteers are hard at work contacting people in their parish, encouraging them to give and to support this wonderful work. We have two goals: to raise $500,000 and 2nd to have 100% participation in EACH of our 60 parishes!
Campaign Update: As of May, 2008 we have $323,707 of our $500,000 goal and parish participation is at 48%.

Clergy Compention - 2008 the Clergy Salary Guidelines for 2008 are now available on line. The updated Supply Clergy List effective June, 2008 is also available.
Note: Effective July 1, 2008 the IRS Approved Travel Rate is $0.58.5/mile.
The Continuing Education Committee has reviewed and revised the Guidelines effective July, 2007 for Continuing Ed Grants. Please call the Canon Betsy Fornal if you have additional questions or concerns at 274-4500 ext. 225 |
